Jonathan Mayshar
Director, President
Many years ago Jonathan Mayshar was a music director at a Jewish day school. He expects you to sing at services. After teaching for a few years Jonathan went back to school for clinical psychology with an emphasis in child development and learning differences. He was trained in equal parts of science and total nonsense. Jonathan has experience with several nonprofit organizations, but these days he is mainly a homemaker and homeschool teacher to the four children he has with his wife of 23 years.
Russell Dunne
Director
Russell Dunne is a native of North Idaho. He makes a living in health insurance, but wishes he were a famous author. If he were, he would write a story about a man who one day came to realize he must leave the faith he knew all his life to serve the God of another people. It would be the story of a man who was born a gentile, but was becoming a Jew, and it would be the story of his own life.
Bob Shay
Director
Robert Allan Shay enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1964 at age 16. With the help of the Jewish Chaplain at U.S. Naval Forces Japan HQ in Tokyo, Bob became the Jewish lay leader for his ship, with a crew of 1,000, and the surrounding bases and ships stationed in Southern Japan, including the staff at the American Atomic Bomb Hospital in Nagasaki. Following his service, Bob founded a Jewish veteran’s Honor Group and worked to place proper headstones and markers for Jewish veterans, including one who died in 1928 and had served in the Civil War.
