Tashlich -- "you shall cast" -- is the casting of sins into water, sometimes in the form of breadcrumbs. If you've never done Tashlich, or if it's been years, please join us. You may find the symbolism more meaningful than you expect. It's a very short ceremony, and you don't need to bring anything.

About the event
Tashlich -- "you shall cast" -- is the casting of sins into water, sometimes in the form of breadcrumbs. If you've never done Tashlich, or if it's been years, please join us. You may find the symbolism more meaningful than you expect. It's a very short ceremony, and you don't need to bring anything. Afterwards we will have a little apples and honey, and if you're free to go out to dinner with us after that would be nice too.
Location will be emailed to those who RSVP.
Bread will be provided for casting, but you will have to use your own sins. This is the traditional time and day for Tashlich when Rosh HaShanah falls on Shabbat.
If you can't imagine sitting through hours of High Holy Day services, but something in you sometimes feels like you should connect with this time of year somehow, Tashlich may be just right.
